The Wright Word
January-March 2005
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus. It is a privilege to serve with you as we work together to train believers and reach unbelievers in Mobile. Donna, Jason (16), Amy (13), and I are thrilled to be called to the ministry here. We are looking forward to knowing you and seeing the Lord make a difference through what we do together.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 was on my groom’s wedding cake 22
years ago. They are appropriate verses for the commitment of marriage and the
commitment of serving together through the Mobile Baptist Association.
“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For
if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when
he falls, for he has no one to help him up.” (NKJV)
The Mobile Baptist Association staff is eager to be a resource center for every
church leader. Wouldn’t it be great if the Lord honored our efforts by allowing
us to become one of the flagship associations in our state and denomination?
Mobile Baptist Association has tremendous potential that can only be
accomplished by all the churches working together. Together, we will be able to
emphasize biblical prayer, evangelistic ministry, church starting, ongoing
training, fellowship and partnership missions.
I am looking forward to hearing from you as we seek to fulfill what is needed by
our churches to reach our county with the love and truth of Jesus. There is a
brief survey in this edition of the Mobile Baptist and online at
www.mobilebaptists.org/survey. Please let us hear from you. I will be praying
for every pastor by name. Please pray for me and our staff.
In the Lamb,
Brother Thomas
