International Language Schools (ILS)

The International Language School (ILS) opened in 1981 as an MBA ministry. The ILS is available to non-English speaking students. Each student is evaluated and placed according to their level of ability. A trained volunteer teacher helps the students learn English and about the love of Jesus.

In 2005, we began to offer survival language classes to provide skills in other languages. Presently Spanish and Portuguese are being taught each week.

The school year runs from September through May. Last year we had over 150 students from 59 countries. Jesus became real to 8 students last year as they came to know Him in a personal way.

Our area churches are welcome to visit any of the 5 locations, Tillman's Corner First Baptist Church, Spring Hill Baptist Church, Dauphin Way Baptist Church, Dayspring Baptist Church, and the International Ministries Center.  Click on each location for teaching schedules.

These classes are made possible by scholarships given from the MBA, local churches, companies and individuals. Contact me if you would like to donate. All gifts are tax deductible.
