Testimony:

My journey began in a home where Christ was the center of daily life and a place where I learned what it means to love one another. My personal relationship with Christ began at the age of fourteen. I knew the stories of Christ’s birth, death and resurrection but it was not until a church youth event that I realized the depth of my sin and need for forgiveness. I asked Christ to be Lord and Savior of my life that night and a month later followed that decision with believer’s baptism. My story is like many who have been profoundly influenced by people using their gifts for the edification of the Body of Christ: Sunday School teachers, youth and college workers, and many more who took time to encourage and pray for my growth.

Toward the end of my college career I began sensing God’s calling to ministry. He continued to use the people who had known me since that day I came to salvation in Christ to encourage me as I sought to find His direction for my life. It was a beautiful example to me of the Body serving and sending a new generation of kingdom workers. I finished college and began seminary at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.  The most profound growth and significant life decisions for me were during those college years. It became clear that I had been called to minister to college students and to continue to influence students just as I had been influenced. God desires to do incredible things in this generation of students. I count it a great privilege to be ministering to such an amazing group of people.
