This conference is an overview of popular books, television programs, internet exposure and religious groups that are impacting people in an unhealthy way today. Leaders have a responsibility to know what’s happening in their world and protect those they serve. This conference is designed for pastors, church staff, and lay people. Seven Churches Tour in Turkey May 21-30, 2012

A team of Mobile Baptists will tour the seven churches of the Revelation during May 21-31, 2012. Ask Thomas Wright for information about other opportunities in the region while there. The anticipated cost is $1,295 for all land expenses, plus airfare (currently $1,600). Join us for a trip of a lifetime. This would be a great gift for your pastor or other staff members. The IMB is holding an Embrace Equipping Conference October 25, 2012 at the Baptist College of Florida
(5400 College Drive, Graceville, Florida 32440). The time is 8:00 a.m.      – 4:00 p.m.

Embrace the ends of the earth....

What is an unengaged, unreached people group? What does it mean to embrace an unengaged, unreached people group? How do I lead my church to embrace one of these groups? These questions and many more will be answered at the Embrace Equipping Conference.

Δ Learn what the barriers are that have prevented these peoples from being engaged.

Δ Gain effective strategies and methods to overcome these barriers.

Δ Hear an amazing story of how God has used a church to engage a people group.

Δ Explore the unengaged, unreached people groups by attending breakout sessions giving overviews of the global peoples needing to be embraced.

Tom Elliff, president of IMB, will share his heart concerning taking the Gospel to the ends of the earth. We encourage you to consider bringing another pastor or staff member/lay person with you for this all-day training as we prepare together to take the Gospel to every language, people, tribe and nation.

Scam Making Rounds Today in Enterprise Churches

The person making the call described himself as the deputy of Rosedale, WV, Deputy Oliver Robinson or Gary Lewis. He was very persistent in only talking with the Pastor of the church, even went so far as to say that it was required by state laws that he only talk with the pastor.
